#10 Newsletter
Trump is "the greatest plot creator"
With this 10th newsletter, I am taking a longer summer break. Looking forward to have some fun in the sun, as you can see in one of the pictures. And take some time to sit in the garden and finally start writing my script. I do need the break most definitely, because no one can and wants to follow "the greatest plot creator" of all times. Unfortunately, his plot is real and not fiction.

The problem is, how to reduce the sheer number of actions since January 20th , when he has taken office for his second term. So, I asked ChatGPT to provide me a summary. I did not ask about good or bad actions, just neutral on the actions themselves. And you can make up your mind yourselves, because this is the difference between human and artificial intelligence. Below, you can see the summary of the summary and at the end the longer version.
President Trump’s second-term agenda has been defined by:
-
Unprecedented use of executive action, often through emergency powers;
-
A hardline “America First” stance on immigration, trade, and multilateralism;
-
Major restructuring of federal bureaucracy, workforce, and independent agencies;
-
Bold economic and energy policies including fossil fuel prioritization;
-
Active foreign engagements via tariffs and military moves in the Middle East.

These moves have sparked widespread controversy—including lawsuits over agency authority, birthright citizenship, and war powers. His supporters hail the swift reforms, while critics warn of executive overreach and democratic erosion. One of the most outspoken critics against Trump is Anne Applebaum, an absolute serious international journalist. Listen to her stunning interview with David Frum, both from The Atlantic:
I will need time to think that through over rose wine and lazy life and come up with my plot, wish must not be determined by the Orange Man. This is the real challenge. And I will have to create a fiction character, who will help me to reduce this complexity. My current idea is to have a ChatGPT-Human-Robot work as a journalist for the CityView, my main “body” to explain the real part of the world in my fiction story. And it all starts with a name. How should he or she be called? Just “Chat”?
Any ideas are welcome, and I will return after the summer with more on Mr. Tresident …
All the best,
Markus A. Will
